"Global Warming" for the purposes of this page shall be defined as "anthropogenically caused atmospheric change(s) resulting in average near-surface global temperatures warmer than those to be expected on the basis of naturally occurring cosmic and/or global phenomena".

All data related to average global temperatures, regardless of from whence derived, (provided good scientific, reproducible methodology was used in obtaining it), confirms the fact that there has been absolutely no Global Warming - ever. Climate change - yes, Global Warming - NO. Over the past thirty-plus years (when temperatures have been measured with the more modern technologies) the earth appears to have warmed by some 0.17^oC per decade (or less). All changes in average global temperatures have been and continue to be  the result of natural phenomena which caused changes in amount of energy reaching the surface of the earth or being retained once retained. These changes involve both energy released by the sun, energy lost in its passage from the sun due to distance and/or interference during its passage and/or changes in the amount of energy trapped by the earth's atmosphere before it escapes into space.

Global Warming is neither catastrophic, nor global. While the planet is, on average, getting warmer, the warming seems to be taking place mostly at night, in the winter and in the Northern Hemisphere. Since the Southern Hemisphere does not seem to be experiencing the same warming the temperature change cannot be characterized as global. In fact, the ice in Antarctica appears to be getting thicker.

Global Warming is the most wide-spread scam ever perpetrated on humanity. And, as in all scams, it is being nurtured for money¹ and power².

The Global Warming movement is NOT based on scientific evidence but on ideology. Scientific evidence supports many possible causes for the current temperature trends so there are many possible explanations for the observed phenomena. Former NASA scientist Roy Spencer of the University of Alabama said, "It comes down to whether you believe the climate system is fragile or resilient."

Some Global Warming claims compared to demonstrable facts:

1. The higher the CO2 concentrations the warmer the earth.
   FALSE: When carbon dioxide levels were over 10 times higher than they are now, about 450 million years ago, the planet was in the depths of the absolute coldest period in the last half-billion years,

2. If the Arctic ice pack melts the oceans will rise.
   FALSE: Sea levels increases from melting ice can occur only when the melting ice is on land and the water formed runs down to the sea. There is little land under the Arctic ice.

3. The whole globe is getting warmer.
   FALSE: The southern hemisphere is not getting warmer and the ice on the Antarctic continent appears to be getting thicker.

4. Glaciers that have pieces breaking off are getting smaller because of Global Warming.
   FALSE: Glaciers with pieces breaking off (calving) are gaining mass. The calving occurs because the increased weight of the glacier caused by its ice burden thickening causes the glacier to slide downhill so that its leading edge looses its support. This loss of support results in calving. In fact, Pio XI, South America's largest glacier is growing very rapidly.

5. The oceans are getting warmer.
   FALSE: "The oceans are now heading into one of their periodic phases of cooling." - Dr. Gary D. Sharp, Center for Climate/Ocean Resources Study

6. If the Greenland glacier melts we will suffer disastrous results.
   FALSE: In the 1920's Greenland was much warmer than it is now and it was heating faster than it is today. There was no disaster. In fact, the Vikings occupied Greenland in the Medieval Warm Period and farmed it. We know that it was even warmer during Roman times yet there's no evidence of significant sea level increases in any of this times.

7. The receding snows of Mt. Kilimanjaro are caused by Global Warming.
   FALSE: The area's temperature has not been increasing. In fact the snows are receding because the precipitation in the area has been decreasing since the beginning of the 20th century. Without moisture there can be no snow,
