About Stuff

This section of my website contains stuff that, now that I've retired and have the time, I read, think and write about. I have a very eclectic menu of interests but I seem to gravitate to history - ancient and modern (particularly the WW II period and the years immediately before and after it), and "technology".

I recommend you stop in the area I've called "Glossary and Assumptions" before wandering into other pages because this background will enrich what you read there and make it easier to understand. Be warned that I'm either very conservative or. perhaps, libertarian (?) and favor a very strict interpretation of our Constitution.

I really love to discuss philosophical and political topics by email provided the discussions are kept constructive and free of pejorative and profane language so contact me if you want to comment on the stuff I've written.
